This lil' critter is crawling like crazy (fast, and away) and getting into everything. She's eating some big girl food, like peanut butter toast, avocado toast, and pasta! She's saying mama a lot more and dadda too. When nick gets home from work she says hi dadda. She said nighnigh the other night. She waves. She loves to watch cars go by. She has a tiny grumbly devil voice that's hilarious. She hates any device that constricts her ability to move about on her own so we said goodbye to our swing and our jolly jumper this month. She has been having a hard time with her sleep since being in the hospital. Her naps are a bit of a crapshoot and sleeping through the night isn't as consistent. It could be her schedule needs to change, but I'm not sure how. We're planning to partially wean this month and I have mixed emotions about it. She's starting daycare in January when I return to work so it needs to happen, but if it weren't for that I know I wouldn't want to wean at all. I know I'm ready to go back to work, every afternoon about 4PM I'm waiting at the door with her wishing Nick would come home early. But I am anticipating how difficult the change will be on us and freaking myself out. It's a spiral of my own making, just like how nervous I was to transfer her to her crib from the bassinet, or any of those other changes that seemed so big and scary at the time. I know she's ready. She's such a brave and tenacious kiddo.
Obsessed with the Modern Witch Tarot by @lisasterle. The art is stunning and the imagery is 👌. This is my first true tarot, other than the Dragon Age deck. I'm gonna love the heck out of it. Feeling pretty good about returning to work in January based on this reading 😄. #modernwitchtarot
We took some Christmas-y pics yesterday while putting up my parents tree! 📸: @dougp3059 and me
Junie at nine months old. She never sits still, she needs to touch (and taste) everything she lays her eyes on, and she's afraid of absolutely nothing. 😂
